InequalitySeems like a complicated word, doesn’t it? Let’s try to understand it together! Inequality generally refers to an unfair situation in society in which some people have more money or more opportunities than others do. You surely know a case from real life where

you witnessed inequality, think of poorer classmates at school whose parents couldn’t afford to send them on that school trip you participated in. Maybe you are even affected by inequality yourself… What if you lived in a perfect society in which everybody was equal and there was no discrimination? That would surely be amazing!

There are several ways in which inequality comes forward. The UN wants to promote the inclusion of all people by 2030 no matter their age, sex, disability, race, ethnicity, origin, religion or economic or other status. Maybe you know a person at school whose parents migrated to your country in search of a better life. Immigrants can also have less opportunities to be integrated in a society which can either be caused by social discrimination or by discriminating laws…

Let’s work together on creating a more inclusive world in the futures!
