INTEGRATING
futures thinking
Thinking about the future is not about predicting what will happen, but about exploring how we relate to what could happen — and how that shapes our choices today.
Through keynotes, trainings and workshops, futures thinking is introduced as a practical and critical skill: one that invites reflection, fosters direction, and helps navigate uncertainty with more clarity, care and imagination.
Presentations
You’ll be invited to think differently about the future. Not to predict it, but to explore how we relate to what lies ahead. The talk opens new ways of seeing. It sparks reflection. It invites shared questioning. Ideal for events, teams, or anyone ready to pause, wonder, and imagine beyond the obvious.
Trainings
You’ll learn to make sense of change. To build future literacy. And to make better choices in uncertain times. No fixed answers — just useful tools and shared reflection. The program supports professionals, teams and leaders. It helps navigate complexity and move forward with clarity and care.
Workshops
We explore signals. We map scenarios. We shape choices that fit your context. The session links sharp thinking to practical action. It helps teams align and stretch their perspective. Ideal for groups who want to explore new directions together — grounded, curious, and ready for what comes next.
UNDERSTANDING
futures thinking
Researching the future starts with a deep curiosity about how we think about what does not yet exist
— and how those thoughts shape the choices, systems and stories that guide us.
Through both applied and fundamental research, futures thinking becomes a lens to question assumptions, surface possibilities, and better understand how the future is imagined, framed and acted upon.
Applied research
Driven by a fascination with how humans imagine the future. Concepts, metaphors and models are traced. They are questioned and rethought. The goal is to understand how futures are shaped — not just out there, but within culture, language and shared meaning.
Fundamental research
Curious about what might emerge in specific domains or sectors. Foresight methods become practical tools. Scenario thinking, horizon scanning and backcasting help make uncertainty workable. The aim is to clarify what’s at stake. To surface hidden assumptions. And to support meaningful choices in times of change.
Currently, I am writing a book about thinking differently about the futures.
It explores how we relate to what does not yet exist — and how futures literacy can help us think, imagine and act with greater awareness. Not to predict the future, but to make space for reflection, perspective and possibility.
Thomas
Always fascinated by how people relate to what doesn’t yet exist.
As a researcher, lecturer and speaker, I work on futures thinking, systems change and the power of imagination. I translate academic depth into accessible insight — using language, stories and methods that help people see differently what’s coming their way. Not to predict the future, but to approach it more consciously and wisely.
My work moves between research and practice, between analysis and imagination. In organisations, education and policy, I help create space — for doubt, for perspective, for direction.
